(yes I joined a different Pokemon group I didn't get along with the last crowd 8| this ones way cooler you should join)

So here's my trainer girl Kiva who is actually going to get a slight design overhaul soon because she's actually 5'9" and she's actually more plumpin' than this. We'll see :U stay tuned.

Life: Kiva grew up on a berry orchard run by her family. They own a rather humble amount of land, but everyone works hard to make the quality of their berries worth a decent price. Because of her home life, Kiva has a significant knowledge of berries, but not a lot else. She and her younger brother were both homeschooled by their mother who had a fair amount of experience teaching, but Kiva didn't believe that was going to get here anywhere and much preferred field work. 

On their orchard, everyone who worked was considered part of the family, and everyone who was a part of the family had to work. Kiva's father instilled the idea the idea into the lot of them that pokemon were not meant to be treated as tools or weapons. Only as people, how he saw them. "If they can talk like us, they're one of us," he'd say. There are a few pokemon on the farm who help out, Lira and Shark being two of them. As a chinchou, Ra also worked in the orchard- mostly as protection and occasionally lugging around whatever baskets of berries he could. Once he evolved, however he became confined to the lake their land edges. 

Persona: Kiva's a working girl. She's been working her whole life and that's not about to change. While it was Lira's idea, Kiva agreed to join the rangers with every intention to protect their land and the land around it. She looks out for her family. She's fairly confident in everything she does, and that usually helps her accomplish whatever she's going for. Usually. She won't admit defeat when she runs into a difficult obstacle. Because of how she was raised, she knows quitting is never an option until the job is good and done. 

She specializes in strength and berries. Ever since she was small she wanted to help with the berry harvest, and as she grew older and more able-bodied (and her father less-so), she helped haul the carts to town each season. If you need any manual labor done, she's your girl. 

In terms of relationships- since she was homeschooled she didn't get a great chance to socialize as much as she could have. She would act with others as she acts at home: on the loud side, fairly up-beat, and frequently abrasive. On top of that, she wouldn't be opposed to a good fight if given the option. 

Pokemon

Lira/Miltank - Lira was Kiva's idea. After discovering quite a few recipes that involved miltank milk and realizing that miltanks could live a healthy life off of berries, Kiva went searching. Lira actually belonged to an individual herd of miltank. She was one of the few who spoke fluent English, which she learned from a trainer and his pokemon who passed through once before, and even preferred to walk upright the majority of the time. Lira was more than happy to accompany Kiva back home to live on the ranch in exchange for house work, and of course, milk (which she is perfectly capable of extraction on her own). 

Shark/Skarmory - Shark has been on the farm for longer than Kiva can remember, working as a general plough/hoe/scarerow in one. Shark played her part as a good amount of the muscle when it came to planting the seeds each year, but she is getting on in years and- though still capable- has earned herself a considerably less work-packed day. Shark was the first person Lira confronted when trying to gather a team with which to join the rangers. 

Ra/Lanturn - Ra was added to the work force when Kiva's brother accidentally lured him out of the lake one night. Ra followed the boy home, lighting their path in the dark, and since he was willing to work, they were willing to keep him. Ra made it possible to continue any particularly late harvests after the sun went down. Unfortunately, once Ra reached his age of evolution, he became confined to the lake once more. He no longer had any real use on the farm, but he sticks around as close as possible and various members of the family visited him often with some spare berries and a want for a good chat.
